Google Sheets, Excel Online
A workbook always up to date, with no export: every event becomes a row in its family's tab. It is the personal dashboard of many owners, and the simplest source for a pivot table or a chart.
Connecting
Integrations → Google Sheets → Continue with Google. Hela creates a workbook "Hela · Ventes, Paiements, Caisse, Stock, Achats, Devis, Partenaires, Séjours, Heures and Catalogue, and a header row in each.
For Excel Online (Microsoft 365): Continue with Microsoft, and the id of the OneDrive workbook to use.
What is written
Every tab has the same nine columns: Date, Event, Number, Party, Amount, Currency, Status, Detail, Id. One row per event.
| Tab | Events |
|---|---|
| Ventes | sale.created, invoice.issued, invoice.paid, invoice.partially_paid, invoice.refunded, sale.cancelled |
| Paiements | payment.received |
| Caisse | transaction.created, cash_session.closed |
| Stock | stock.low, stock.movement, transfer.completed |
| Achats | purchase.created, purchase.received, purchase.paid, expense.created |
| Devis | quote.created, quote.accepted |
| Partenaires | partner.created |
| Séjours | stay.checked_out |
| Heures | time_entry.created |
Amounts are written in major units (125.00), with the currency in its column, so formulas work without conversion. An invoice paid in two instalments gives three rows in Ventes (issued, partially paid, paid): filter on Status for the "one row per invoice" view, or on Event.
Sending a table
Once the sheet is connected, the Sales, Purchases, Partners, Catalogue, Treasury and Hours pages carry a To the sheet button: the table on screen, for the period on screen, is written whole into a tab of the same name (Ventes, Achats, Partenaires, Catalogue, Caisse, Heures), rewritten on each press, and the sheet opens in one click from the confirmation. It is the "put this in my sheet" gesture; the event stream keeps appending one row per thing that happens.
Reading the catalogue
The other way round: the Catalogue tab can be imported to create or update items — handy for a bulk price update. The first row names the columns; Hela recognises name, sku (or code, reference), price, cost, quantity, category, barcode, in English or French. Sync reads the configured range (Catalogue!A1:Z1000 by default) and creates or updates items, finding them by reference then by name.
Settings
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Workbook id | To write into an existing workbook rather than the created one. |
| Catalogue range | The range Sync reads. |
Good to know
- Google caps writes at 300 per minute per workbook; rows are appended in batches.
- Deleting rows in the workbook has no effect in Hela. The workbook is a reflection, not a source — except the Catalogue tab.
- For a one-off need, the CSV export is enough.
