The normalised electronic invoice has been mandatory in Burkina Faso since 1 July 2026 for large companies, in waves afterwards, under the Direction générale des impôts.

How Hela goes about it

A device regime: every sale is sent to a device or gateway accredited by the DGI, which normalises it and returns the code and QR printed on the invoice. The switch to the central API, once open, will happen with no change on your side.

Enrolling

Finance → Compliance → Burkina Faso → Enable: the device or gateway address, its token, the device id if any, and the company's IFU.
