Zapier

The Hela app for Zapier links a Hela company to more than seven thousand applications without code: a paid invoice adds a row in Google Sheets, a new customer goes to Mailchimp, low stock opens a Trello card.

Connecting

1. In Zapier, add a Hela step and choose Sign in to Hela.
2. Paste an API key created in Administration → Developers. Give it the scopes of the triggers and actions you plan to use, plus webhooks:manage (how Zapier subscribes to events) and events:read.
3. Enter the API address if your Hela is self-hosted; leave empty for the hosted service.

Zapier shows the company name to confirm the connection.

Triggers

Each trigger maps to an event. Zapier creates a webhook in your company when the Zap is turned on and removes it when it is turned off — you will see it in the webhook list with source api:<key name>.

Amounts come as two fields: total.amount (integer, minor units) and total.currency. A convenience field total_major gives the readable amount (125.00).

Find Item	Looks an item up by name or reference.

Actions use the Idempotency-Key header with the Zapier run id: a replayed Zap does not create the sale twice.

Examples

• Paid invoice → Google Sheets row: trigger Invoice Paid, action Create Spreadsheet Row. (For a complete, live table, the Google Sheets connector does it without a Zap.)
• Shopify order → Hela sale: Shopify's New Order trigger, action Find Partner then Create Sale.
• Low stock → Slack message: trigger Low Stock, action Send Channel Message. (The Slack connector does it too, without a Zap.)

Installing the app

The app is published in the Zapier directory as Hela. If you prefer a private version (for a self-hosted Hela, or while the directory review runs), its source is in the Hela repository under integrations/zapier, ready for zapier push.
